CogencySoftware, Inc., a provider of integrated portfolio management, manager due diligence, investor management and accounting solutions for multi-manager funds announced today that John Peterson has joined Cogency as the Managing Director of Business Development and member of the firm’s Advisory Board.

As a Managing Director, Mr. Peterson’s responsibilities will be to expand the firm's presence and market share across the industry, including fund of hedge funds, family offices, endowments, and fund of private equity funds in need of Cogency's integrated software solutions.
