Due to our continual and accelerating growth, we are now seeking entry-level and mid-level Financial Solution Implementation Consultants to join our Client Services team. Our Implementation Consultants perform a wide range of tasks that make this role ideal for those people who have an interst, an aptitude, and a desire to grow cross-functional skills in finance, hedge-fund operations, accounting, project management, database and technology. Candidates should also have a passion for working in the alternative investments industry -- We offer an excellent opportunity to be in front of marquee hedge funds, fund of hedge funds and fund administrators.

The successful candidate will be organized, analytical, and detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must have solid computer skills and be proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn new computer programs quickly. Qualifications

• Completed an undergrad or graduate program with a degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent math, logic and financial-analysis skills
• Technology skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server database
• Self motivated, ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town engagements (infrequently)
• For entry-level position
  • Some relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• For mid-level position
  • Professional presence; consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of hedge fund operations, general ledger accounting, portfolio management, partnership accounting or related domain

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement Cogency's accounting and operations application for our clients
• Establish working relationships with client personnel
• Work with fund accountants at client sites to reconcile the implementation
• Identify accounting and operational issues; perform research to solve issues that arise
• Review financial statements, portfolio reports, capital reports
• Work closely with our product development team to help make this the best product in its space.
• Conduct individual or group product training as required
